How to order:

Since every invitation order is different in so many ways, we have found that it is much easier to handle each one personally rather than try to make a master form that will handle every variable.

Each invitation has its own unique style. We have selected the best lettering and verse to coordinate with each design. If you select another verse, lettering style or ink color this may alter the unique style. Therefore we suggest ordering a proof to make sure the style is just right for you.

Once you have an idea of the invitations that interest you, please email us at cheryl@ liongraphics.com. OR you can contact us by filling out a simple inquiry form.

TURNAROUND

The turnaround time depends upon the invitation - typically it is a day or two to get an emailed digital proof, then once you approve it after any time it takes to make changes, it is 3-5 business days plus shipping time, so if you place an order Monday it could ship by Friday. Some of the full-color invitations take longer, typically 5-7 business days plus shipping. Add 2 days if you order them assembled (additional fees apply).

PROOFS:

For a limited time we are offering FREE EMAILED proofs* of your items from the Something Different page (this includes items not found in any albums)! You must request free proofs, this is not automatic. This does not include most 4-color process invitations and some photo invitations and there are other limitations (we have to have the fonts and art in our systems).

*After the first two sets of proofs we charge the prices below unless the proof after a correction — that is really to discourage you from getting us to do a lot of proofs to see different fonts or colors as it takes us a lot of time to work up nice proof for you!  :)  Also, if you order a proof and then decide not to place an order for invitations/greetings/announcements with us, you will be charged the standard rate for those proofs, noted below in bold.

If you have ordered a proof, it will be sent to you as it will look when sent to the typesetter. Please take your time and proofread everything very carefully. Let me know in writing if you have any changes to the text or if I left anything out. If you send payment acknowledging approval of any proof only to find later that you missed something, we can not be responsible for those reprints, so please take your time and check everything. If you want it emailed, I will have it faxed to me and will scan the fax.

With items that don't quality for free proofs, proofs are $8 for invitations, $5 each accompanying card and $10 for programs (after 1 revision the fee is $40/hour). This is a printer proof. In most cases, from the Something Different line you can order a custom job put together by Lion Graphics. We have great on-screen proof that you can look at.

PAYMENT:
I will send a money request from PayPal if that is your preference. If you prefer to pay over the phone please call the number on the email M-F, 10-4 Eastern. If you prefer to send a check, please send it to Lion Graphics. Once we receive your final approval and payment we will get these into production. If we receive only your payment and no other email we will assume that the text is approved with no changes and you will assume any charges for changes made after the items are printed. So, if you have any questions or changes be sure to let me know before you send payment.

SAMPLES:
For $12 you can order up to 5 samples, $14 for samples and the corresponding respond cards, and we will refund you for the first $10 you spent on samples when you place your invitation order (please remind us).
Click here to order. Please have your item numbers ready.

The samples will be blank (if we happen to have some printed, we will send them, but that doesn't happen frequently) and will be sent regular mail. Email us (at cheryl@ liongraphcis.com) first, if a printed sample is very important to you, and we will see if we have any printed samples available and we will set them aside for you.

Please remember that samples can't be rushed — the paper samples come from several different suppliers and can take 1-2 weeks to come in. If you are in a hurry you can see the samples in our albums nationwide. The stores don't offer the same discounts, proofs and custom setups that you get online, but you can at least see the invitations.

If you order samples through our automated system (liongraphics.cceasy.com) the pricing is different. I can only refund $1 per sample up to $10.

ORDER EXTRAS!:
Remember to order extras for last-minute guests and keepsakes: it is a LOT less expensive to order 25 extra now than it will be to order 25 extra later! For example, One of our invitations costs $220.90 for 100 and $267.80 for 125. That is $46.90 for that extra 25. If you order 100 now and 25 later, that extra 25 would cost $160 PLUS an additional shipping charge because you have to pay all of the press setup fees again.

ORDER:
Place your order with us via email. Shipping will be added after the discount is taken. Once you finalize your order I will let you know the shipping cost (usually between $10-$15). We accept check or payment online using PayPalฎ secure internet e-invoicing. Once we receive payment we will print your invitations (approx. 3-7 business day turnaround, not including assembly or other custom items) and ship via UPS Ground.

SHIPPING OUT OF THE COUNTRY:
Make sure that you specify your complete shipping address if you want a quote. Obviously, the shipping cost goes up dramatically if we ship outside of the continental US, so be sure to get an estimate. Our estimate will NOT figure in customs/brokerage fees which are typically expected upon delivery and are based upon the value placed on the package. We value the package at the price listed before discounts. You are responsible for counting on and, if you desire, finding out those fees, which can — in some cases — be 1/4 to 1/3 the price of the invitations (in the case of small orders, it could be double the price). We will not accept returns or give additional discounts based upon a customs/brokerage fee being too high, so, again, be sure to educate yourself about that BEFORE you order. (One thing that you can try is to have us ship it to someone in the US and then have them send it to you with a lower value placed upon the package).

What if I am not happy with my invitations once they arrive?
BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER: the easiest way to NOT be unhappy with your invitations is to find out as much about them as possible. If you don't want any surprises, order samples, ask questions, come into a Carlson Craft dealer store and look at the invitation in the album. An educated consumer is our best customer!

Order early enough so that you can get reprints if there was a problem with the first order.

DO NOT SEND THEM BACK TO US unless otherwise instructed. Call me at 303-904-1181 (M-F, 9-5 Mountain) or email me with your concerns right away. Depending upon the problem we can usually reprint them and get them out to you very quickly. If you receive invitations with which you are unhappy — but send them out anyway — we cannot issue refunds or reprints. It's not that we don't believe you, but please remember that for the hundreds of wonderful sweet customers out there, we have run into a few who will claim that there were print issues just so they can receive extras at no charge when they ran short and we have to protect ourselves.   :)

If you have just discovered a mistake that you made, we will reprint at an additional discounted cost (10%). Like I said, we don't want to punish you.

We try to put as MUCH information online as possible, but sometimes we miss something that seems obvious to us but is not to you — so if you have any reservations about a style, color, paper stock, font, etcetera, ask us BEFORE you order because we will NOT refund your money just because a card was textured and you didn't expect it to be or vice versa. I understand that there is a hesitancy to order online, but we offer so many benefits in the way of low-cost samples, personalized customer service, design specialists that you can't find in your local bridal salon, and the ability to answer ALL of your questions that there is no excuse not to know before you go to print! :)

Why should you order with Cherry Lane Stationery and Lion Graphics over a retail store?
There are many differences and many similarities about ordering from me and from a card store — First of all, Cherry Lane Stationery and Lion Graphics is very much like a retail store, only we're not a chain. I am a graphic designer, so I personally typeset EVERY item in your ensemble and email you proofs so that we can set it up exactly the way you want it.

At most stationery stores which hire part-time, untrained help, you have a salesperson who knows very little about the products and has nothing to do with the design. They will have you fill out a form and then fax that form to Carlson Craft or McPhersons or others (the large print houses that actually print the paper -- they do not sell direct to the public, only through dealers like myself).

I send my printers the actual art that they use on the press. You and I have total control over what I send them. I have let the typesetters at these major printhouses do their work for me on only a couple of occasions -- like when I can't match one of their fonts or backgrounds -- but I am a perfectionist who is so nit-picky that their skills do not satisfy me (and you shouldn't settle). Not to mention the fact that I have designed many of the invitations myself. The printing press is run professionally, and I have a personal assistant at each printhouse who looks over my orders for me before they ship out. Because of all of these differences it is difficult for me to say that the end result is the same -- I honestly believe that an order that I set up will look better and my assistant takes more time with my orders to make sure that it is a quality print job -- but yes, you are getting the same raised ink, the same fine papers, the same base product. But with a more personal hold on it from the start.

I have an excellent reputation and many repeat customers and referrals. I am careful with all of your personal information and hand-hold my orders from start to finish. So you may find bigger discounts elsewhere but you will never match the level of customization, quality of design, and product knowledge that I offer.

Email me if you have any other questions

We look forward to working with you!
